ZAR Interceptor is our brand of Aluminum RIBs larger than 5m. As Europe's biggest Aluminum RIB manufacturer, we are setting the pace in innovations and quality. All our ZAR Interceptor boats are produced in Europe, in one of the most advanced factories worldwide.
Like all ZAR boats also ZAR Interceptor are designed by Carlos Vidal. The hull was created by Francesco Ambrosini, who signs responsible for all ZAR hulls of our famous ZAR Formenti RIB's.
One of the biggest innovations of our ZAR Interceptor boats is the ORCATHANE® tube. ORCATHANE® are TPU-coated fabrics designed for military and professional crafts.
We are the first manufacturer in the world, using ORCATHANE® medium fabric from Pennel Flipo for pleasure crafts. They are weldable, offer superior abrasion resistance and can stand very low temperature. It is an 1880dtex material with 1355g (+-150) g/sqm.
